Dramatis Personae
- Feuille Morte, 14, hailing from Feldspar Town. Unfortunate family circumstances caused her to be declared ineligible to become a pokémon trainer; meanwhile, her anger towards pretty much everyone has developed into an overblown vengeance fantasy that she's about to execute. Fairly self-sufficient, she's actually been living on her own in Goldenrod City for the last four years due to the absence of her parents under mysterious conditions.
- Blanche Almond, 14, also hailing from Feldspar Town, is a all-Johtonian sweetheart and would have been the apple of the media's eye had she decided to participate in the League Tournament. Her reasons remain unknown, although they could have something to do with the disappearance of her one-time best friend four years ago. Her father achieved some considerable success in pokémon training, and she wants to live up to his legacy.
- Prof. Niobe Clematis, 26, nearly fresh out of college but full of big ideas. Does somewhat obscure research in addition to handing out starters to beginning trainers.
